Job Details
A leading employment and labor law firm, exclusively focused on representing management, is seeking an attorney with 2 to 6 years of Labor & Employment and litigation experience to join its office.
What You Will Do
Represent employers in litigation and administrative proceedings involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and wrongful termination claims Handle matters before state and federal courts, as well as agencies such as the EEOC, NLRB, and their state-level counterparts Conduct depositions, draft dispositive motions, and manage discovery in single-plaintiff and class or collective action matters Advise clients on day-to-day employment issues, including hiring, discipline, leave management, reasonable accommodation, and reductions in force Review and draft employment policies, handbooks, and agreements, including non-competes and separation agreements Counsel clients on compliance with Nevada and federal employment law, including wage and hour regulations, and support clients through internal investigations Work directly with clients to provide practical, business-oriented advice, not just legal analysis Collaborate with attorneys across the firm's national platform on multi-jurisdictional matters Apply AI-driven and emerging legal technology tools to improve efficiency, work product, and client service
Qualifications
Minimum 2 to 6 years of civil litigation experience, ideally including both single-plaintiff defense and advice and counsel work, or some experience with employment litigation. Must be licensed to practice law in the state Strong writing, deposition, and courtroom skills appropriate to experience level Demonstrated familiarity with and openness to leveraging AI-driven and emerging technologies, with the aptitude to apply them effectively to enhance efficiency, client service, and legal work product Ability to manage a active caseload independently while collaborating with a national team
